Donald Trump adds newest member to campaign team — failed New Hampshire Senate candidate Corey Lewandowski who faces battery charges and allegations of physical and sexual assault.
Weeks after the Trump campaign stood by state Rep. Jon Stone, a favorite Trump surrogate and Kelly Ayotte endorser accused of threatening a shooting spree against law enforcement and having inappropriate relations with a teen girl, Donald Trump is now tapping Corey Lewandowski as a “top advisor”– despite having previously fired the failed New Hampshire Senate candidate after a top donor accused him of sexual assault.
"Trump Creep” Lewandowski’s hiring is consistent with the Trump campaign’s disregard for sexual assault, embrace of violence, and endorsement of attacks on law enforcement. Trump has made the violent January 6 attack on the Capitol a “cornerstone” of his campaign, promised to be a dictator on “day one” if he is elected, and said there would be a “bloodbath” if he loses. He has also promised to pardon and “free” January 6 rioters who threatened law enforcement – just like Stone.
"Just when Granite Staters thought Trump couldn’t go any lower, his campaign eagerly welcomed back ‘creep’ Corey Lewandowski, despite firing Lewandowski after a top donor accused Lewandowski of sexual assault,” said NHDP Chair Ray Buckley. “Donald Trump is so desperate for anyone willing to work for him that he is once again scraping the bottom of the MAGA barrel, adding Corey Lewandowski to his long list of New Hampshire allies accused of sexual misconduct, violent assault, and threatening law enforcement. This is who Donald Trump is, which is why Granite Staters will reject him once again this November.”

Former Donald Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski is back on the Trump political team payroll, making $20,000 from the Republican National Committee last month. [...]
He has served in and been forced out of other roles in Trump’s sprawling political operation, including being removed from a top post with a pro-Trump super PAC in 2021.
Lewandowski at the time was accused by a top Trump donor’s wife, Trashelle Odom, of making unwanted sexual advances towards her while at a Las Vegas charity dinner.
