NHDP STATEMENT On Victoria Sullivan's Campaign Announcement.

CONCORD, N.H — Victoria Sullivan announced today that she plans to run for State Senate against Donna Soucy. Victoria Sullivan has an overwhelming record of failed campaigns – she lost the special election for Ward 9 City Alderman in 2022, lost both of her campaigns for Mayor of Manchester in 2021 and 2019, and lost her campaign for re-election as a State Representative in 2018.

In response to Sullivan’s announcement, New Hampshire Democratic Party Chair Ray Buckley released the following statement:

“What is it going to take for Victoria Sullivan to realize that Granite Staters do not want her in elected office? Voters have consistently rejected Sullivan and her extreme agenda that includes defunding public schools, turning away funding to combat the opioid crisis, and voting against support for law enforcement. Good luck, Victoria! You’re going to need it.

“For 12 years, Senator Donna Soucy has done a phenomenal job serving the people of Senate District 18. Senator Soucy’s record of lowering costs for families, driving economic development, fighting for reproductive freedom, supporting our public schools, and combating the opioid crisis speaks for itself. We look forward to watching Granite Staters re-elect Senator Soucy and reject Victoria Sullivan (again) in November.”
