NHDP Statement on Mary Eisner's Well Fought Campaign

Concord, N.H. — Today, New Hampshire Democratic Party Chair Ray Buckley released the following statement in response to the results of the Derry special election:

“Derry is a traditionally Republican town, and the fact that Mary Eisner garnered so much support shows just how strong our Democratic values are even in the reddest areas of the state. I want to congratulate Mary on her exceptionally well-run campaign that brought in support from Granite Staters who believe in her values: funding for public education, reproductive rights, affordable options for medical care, and to protect our environment from the effects of climate change. Mary and her team fought hard, and we’re proud of what she accomplished in the continued journey to turn Derry blue.
