NHDP Statement on Chris Pappas's Re-Election Victory

MANCHESTER, NH — Tonight, New Hampshire's First Congressional District overwhelmingly voted to send Congressman Chris Pappas back to Washington. In response, NHDP Chair Ray Buckley released the following statement:

“Congressman Chris Pappas is a champion for Granite Staters, and his bipartisan leadership and record of delivering results is why voters in our First Congressional District chose to send him back to Washington for another term. He’s made history as the first Democrat since 1978 to win an election for the First District in a midterm with a Democrat in the White House, and the first Democrat elected to three consecutive terms since Congressman Norman D'Amours. He has been an outstanding public servant in Congress and we congratulate him for winning the voters' trust yet again. We look forward to seeing him continue his incredible work for the people of New Hampshire.”
