NHDP Statement on 50th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade

CONCORD, NH — In honor of the 50th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, NHDP spokesperson Monica Venzke released the following statement:

"On this day fifty years ago, the Supreme Court enshrined women’s reproductive freedom into law. Last year, far-right Republicans on the Court took those freedoms away. Here in New Hampshire, Republican leadership is working to further restrict our right to reproductive health care.

“On this anniversary, we remember how much is at stake. Republican Governor Chris Sununu and Republicans in the State House and Senate will not give up their fight to strip women of our right to choose, and we can’t give up our fight to hold them accountable and roll back the clocks on their political careers.”
