Over the next month we want to hear from Granite Staters, like you, about what makes them proud to be a Democrat. That’s why we are excited to announce that the NHDP Resolutions Committee is now accepting resolutions to be considered for the 2024 State Convention.

 

Your input is important to us, and that is why we are looking to you. Resolutions are a way to celebrate accomplishments of Democrats, acknowledge the hard work being done throughout our great state, and honor the friends and fellow Democrats that we have lost. 

 

Attached Here are the complete resolution rules, but wanted to highlight a few of the key components of this year’s process:

 

• The 2024 Resolutions Committee is now accepting resolutions for consideration.

• Registered New Hampshire Democrats can submit their proposed resolution to the NHDP Resolutions Committee via email (resolutions@nhdp.org) or via mail to 105 North State Street, Concord NH 03301 between March 15th and April 15th,  2024. Resolutions must be received by 5 pm on April 15th, 2024.

• Resolutions that are approved by the Resolutions Committee will be voted on by NHDP delegates to the state convention.

• Attached Here you’ll find a sample resolution. Draft resolutions must be submitted in this format in order to be considered, along with the contact information of the prime sponsor and up to 10 cosponsors.

• Proposed Resolutions should fit into one of the following topic categories;

  • Discussing support or opposition to a Federal issue; 

  • Laudatory of a Democrat or uncomplimentary about a Republican; or

  • Memorializing a NH Democrat who has passed away following the adjournment of the May 2022 state convention.
