NHDP Applauds President Biden and VP Harris and Their Commitment to Protecting Voting Rights

In response to the powerful remarks from President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris on the Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act today, NHDP Chair Ray Buckley released the following statement:

“Republican legislators in the Granite State have followed their party’s national trend of spreading election disinformation and the Big Lie. Republicans in New Hampshire and across our country have made it their mission to suppress voting rights, and we must act to defend against these attacks on our democracy.

“I want to thank President Biden and Vice President Harris for their commitment to pass the Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act to protect our elections and secure the right to vote for not only all Granite Staters, but for all American voters.”
