HDP Statement on Disturbing Report from InDepthNH About State Representative Jon Stone

CONCORD, NH — NHDP Chair Ray Buckley released the following statement in response to a shocking report from InDepthNH that Republican State Representative Jon Stone “threatened to kill fellow police officers in a shooting spree, and murder his chief after raping the chief’s wife and children, all while he was already under scrutiny for his inappropriate relationship with a teen girl.”

“The disturbing report on State Representative Jon Stone’s dangerous and out-of-control behavior — which he tried to hide from the public for years — raises serious concerns about Stone’s position on the House Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee and leaves no doubt that Stone is unfit to serve the people of Claremont."
