Former State Senator Bette Lasky Calls on Chuck Morse to Explain Campaign Consultant Dave

Yesterday, Dave Carney, who Chuck Morse hired as the top consultant for his U.S. Senate campaign, posted a hateful, antisemitic tweet. In response, former State Senator Bette Lasky released the following statement: “There is no excuse for standing with Holocaust deniers and Dave Carney’s tweet is shameful. One week into his campaign for the U.S. Senate, Chuck Morse’s top consultant is tweeting his opposition to condemning Holocaust denial. We can never afford to be silent in the face of hate. I urge Chuck Morse to immediately explain why his campaign advisor sent this appalling tweet and make clear that he rejects his top advisor’s antisemitism and support for Holocaust denial.”
