Concord N.H. - Following the 5-4 Supreme Court decision allowing states to require online retailers to collect sales taxes, NHDP Chairman Ray Buckley issued the following statement: "The Supreme Court's decision on online sales taxes is devastating news for businesses and consumers in New Hampshire, and it comes courtesy of Justice Neil Gorsuch and the NHGOP's complicity in the historic obstruction campaign that put him on the court. With Chris Sununu and the NHGOP's support, former Senator Kelly Ayotte was a leading voice in blocking President Obama's Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland and took the principal role in guiding Neil Gorsuch's confirmation process. Whatever negative impact this decision has on New Hampshire's economy is on Sununu, Ayotte, and the NHGOP."
