Don Bolduc just made it clear that he would have voted against billions of dollars in federal relief to help Ukraine, funding for public safety and national security, support for service members, veterans and military families, and the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act. In a Facebook post this weekend, NH GOP Senate candidate Don Bolduc attacked Senator Hassan for supporting the government funding package that he called a “1.5 trillion 3000 page pork filled so called Ukrainian relief bill.” By opposing this legislation, Don Bolduc is coming out against funding for border security, fire fighters, the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, high-speed internet access, clean drinking water, a pay raise for American troops, the reauthorization of the VAWA, and funding for Ukraine. Chuck Morse and Kevin Smith should have to answer if they agree. The legislation reauthorizes the Violence Against Women Act, includes $13.6 billion in military and humanitarian assistance for Ukraine, full funding for a 2.7 percent military pay raise, $475 million in funding for Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, $57.5 billion in homeland security funding, increased funding to address PFAS contamination in military communities, and more than $550 million for high-speed internet in rural communities.
