Chuck Morse today was one of only five Republicans to vote against adding an exception for fatal fetal anomaly and removing the costly and invasive mandatory ultrasound requirement from the abortion ban that he shepherded into law last year. Morse was the “key architect” of the abortion ban and in February, he led Republicans in a vote against adding exceptions for rape, incest, or fatal fetal anomaly to his abortion ban. In response, NHDP spokesperson Gates MacPherson released the following statement: “Chuck Morse just proved once again that he will do everything he can to push his extreme, unpopular, anti-choice agenda. Today’s vote is a glaring reminder that if Morse were in the US Senate, he would gladly vote in lockstep with Mitch McConnell to eviscerate Roe v. Wade and roll back reproductive freedoms for all Granite Staters.”
