Concord, N.H -- Today, at the New Hampshire Democratic Party State Committee meeting, Chairman Ray Buckley was re-elected for his eighth term as party Chairman. In a sign of unity, Chairman Buckley and his challenger Emmett Soldati -- an activist and small business owner -- have released the following statement: “This vibrant election highlighted the best our Party has to offer, and that's the activists and leaders who make up the New Hampshire Democratic Party. We know that when we lift up the diverse voices that make up our party, in communities large and small, we can win. Our Party is united and stronger than ever. We will continue to build the organizing power that is necessary to get out our strong message, recruit and run strong candidates up and down the ballot, advocate for progressive change in every corner of New Hampshire and to hold Sununu and Republicans accountable for their blind opposition to the transformative American Rescue Plan, their consistent attacks on reproductive, LGBTQ and workers rights, their coordinated effort to undermine our very democracy, and their countless other morally and economically bankrupt priorities. We are the Party that believes in equity, justice, and most importantly, organizing. Let’s get to work to build a lasting movement that lifts up everyone in our great state.”
