NHDP Statement: Senator Maggie Hassan Wins the WMUR Debate

Following the debate hosted by WMUR tonight, NHDP Chair Ray Buckley released the following statement:

“Senator Maggie Hassan was the clear winner of the WMUR debate tonight. Senator Hassan discussed her bipartisan record of lowering costs, fighting for women’s reproductive freedom, and defending Granite Staters’ hard earned Social Security and Medicare. Meanwhile, Don Bolduc said he opposes home heating assistance, lied about his support for a national sales tax, attacked the moderators for asking about his record of election denial, and simply could not handle being called out on his own extreme positions. The choice in this election is clear: Maggie Hassan is delivering results for New Hampshire, and Don Bolduc is pushing an extreme agenda that is out-of-step with Granite Staters.”
