NHDP Statement on Ron DeSantis Filing for NH Primary

CONCORD, NH — NHDP Chair Ray Buckley released the following statement on Ron DeSantis officially filing for the New Hampshire presidential primary:

“As Ron DeSantis makes another feeble attempt to revive his trainwreck of a campaign in New Hampshire, Granite Staters won’t forget the MAGA disasters he’s overseen in Florida — including signing one of the strictest abortion bans in the country, refusing to expand his state's Medicaid program, and lining the pockets of the ultra-wealthy while failing to address Florida’s skyrocketing housing costs. No matter how many times DeSantis tries to reboot, New Hampshire voters have already shown that they will reject his unpopular, extreme agenda in 2024."
