NHDP Statement Before President Biden's State of the Union

CONCORD, NH – Ahead of President Biden’s State of the Union address this evening, NHDP Executive Director Troy Price has released the following statement:

“Tonight, the American people here in the Granite State and across the country will hear directly from President Biden about the progress we have made together over the last year in the face of unprecedented challenges, and his optimism for the future. The Biden-Harris Administration’s first year in office saw the most jobs created in a single year ever and the fastest economic growth since 1984."

“There’s no doubt that we have more work to do, and I know that President Biden and Vice President Harris are going to continue to work hard to increase wages and bring costs down for Granite State families. While Republicans are plotting higher income taxes for half of our country’s population, President Biden and Democrats are taking action to deliver relief for struggling families everywhere.”
