Concord, N.H. - During the Democratic National Convention, New Hampshire Democrats will be bringing the convention home to New Hampshire - with 100 grassroots events that Granite Staters can participate in that span every corner of the state. These events include:
Convention watch parties
Phone banks
Virtual house parties to discuss policies that impact Granite Staters’ lives, including climate change, health care, and national security
Many of the events will feature high-profile national surrogates including Senator Amy Klobuchar, Connie Britton, Senator Cory Booker, Governor Deval Patrick, Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, DNC Chair Tom Perez, and Valerie Jarrett. Additional speakers including Senator Bernie Sanders and Senator Elizabeth Warren have been invited to address Granite Staters, and we will provide updates once these special guests are confirmed.
“The energy and excitement around this year’s Democratic National Convention is unlike any other, not only because more people will be able to participate in the convention than ever before, but because Democrats know how much is at stake and we are unified and ready to elect Joe Biden and Democrats up and down the ticket on November 3rd,” said Ray Buckley, chair of the New Hampshire Democratic Party, “We are thrilled to host events in every corner of the state with a slate of incredible Democratic leaders who are going to be talking to Granite Staters about how Democrats will fight for the issues that matter to them - from affordable health care to women’s reproductive rights to building an economy that works for everyone. All of our grassroots events will build momentum toward Thursday night when Granite Staters will join with Democrats across the country to officially nominate Joe Biden to be the next president of the United States.”
See below for event details - organized by county. Each event is open to the public and to the media. For more information about these events or convention week activities, please contact press@nhdp.org.
