NH GOP Fundraises with Architect of Republican Plan to Raise Income Taxes, End Social Security + Medicare
CONCORD, NH – Last night, New Hampshire Republicans fundraised with a cavalcade of wannabe Republican presidential candidates. Among this group was U.S. Senator Rick Scott – the architect of the Republican plan to raise taxes on millions of Americans, including over 25% of Granite Staters, and end Social Security and Medicare.
In response to last night’s NH GOP fundraiser, NHDP Chair Ray Buckley released the following statement:
“With the NH GOP’s enthusiastic appearance alongside Senator Rick Scott, it’s clear that Republicans up and down the ballot from Chris Sununu to Chuck Morse are embracing the Republican plan to raise federal income taxes on Granite State seniors and families and end Social Security and Medicare. Under Chris Sununu and New Hampshire Republican control, Granite Staters are already seeing skyrocketing property taxes – among the highest in the nation – and a housing crisis that continues to grow more dire. The last thing we need is higher taxes and costs on families.”
