Mowers Candidates Mowed Down on Town Meeting Day

CONCORD, NH – On Town Meeting Day this Tuesday, New Hampshire Democrats once again bucked national trends and won big in town elections throughout the Granite State. From the North Country to the Seacoast, voters came out in droves to carry Granite State Democrats to victory.

It was a great night to be a Granite State Democrat, but a rough one to be campaigning with Republican CD-01 candidate Matt Mowers.

Mowers-backed anti-public education and pro-harmful school voucher extremists, Michelle Tyler and Kollen Crawford in Gilford, Racheal Killian in Londonderry, and Matt Crow in New Boston, were all defeated. In Bedford, a historically Republican stronghold, Craig Stevens lost his bid for local office. Additionally, Jon Ringel lost his election to be on Hampton Falls’ Planning Board, and Karen Scott was defeated in her run for New Hampton Selectman.

Along with the Mowers-backed candidates losing on Tuesday night, all ten towns voting on warrant articles to ban voting machines, which were pushed by election-conspiracy touting, far-right extremists like Mowers, overwhelmingly rejected them and the Big Lie.
