Concord, N.H. - Today, in ruling to stay the Hillsborough Superior Court's injunction on SB 3, the New Hampshire Supreme Court has bought into a crisis created by the Secretary of State's office, which refused to prepare for the eventuality that an injunction would be placed on this voter restriction law and then defied the injunction, thereby creating the confusion they then argued impeded their ability to comply with the court’s order. NHDP Chair Ray Buckley issued the following statement: "This ruling is a setback for New Hampshire’s electoral integrity, but it also highlights just how important it is for all eligible Granite State voters to make their voices heard on Election Day. We will have resources in the field to assist any voters confused by this unconstitutional law. "On November 6th, let’s make sure that regardless of any restrictive legislation, we all turn out and elect legislators who recognize the right to vote as the foundation of our democracy and will fight to protect it.”
