Every New Hampshire Republican Politician Must Answer for What Happened Today and Condemn Corey Lewandowski for Spreading Dangerous Conspiracy Theories
Concord, N.H. – In response to the chaos caused by pro-Trump extremists who stormed the U.S. Capitol to obstruct the certification of Joe Biden as the next president of the United States, New Hampshire Democratic Party Chair Ray Buckley released the following statement: “All of us are horrified by what is happening at the United States Capitol. I’m grateful that Senators Shaheen and Hassan, Congresswoman Kuster, Congressman Pappas, and their staff are all safe. This is violence has shaken our entire nation. I have never imagined anything like this. This is a tragic day for America. “Every single Republican politician who enabled Trump -- including Chris Sununu, Kelly Ayotte, Chuck Morse, Sherman Packard, and Steve Stepanek -- must answer for what happened today, just as they must condemn Corey Lewandoski for spreading dangerous conspiracy theories that are fanning the flames of violence at the United States Capitol. “Chris Sununu and New Hampshire’s Republican politicians are too cowardly to speak up against what Donald Trump and his acolytes like Corey Lewandowski stand for: lies, corruption, and cruelty.”
