New Hampshire Democrats Show Strong Support for Congresswoman Annie Kuster’s Re-election Against Rad

Concord, NH - New Hampshire Democratic Party Chair Ray Buckley released the following statement in response to the Second Congressional District primary election results:

“With all of the chaos happening in D.C., Congresswoman Annie Kuster and all members of our first-in-the-nation, all-women Democratic delegation have worked incredibly hard on behalf of New Hampshire families. Granite Staters can depend on Annie. She’s known for reaching across party lines to rise above the gridlock and dysfunction in Washington, to focus on the issues that matter most to New Hampshire families.

“She’s strengthening the New Hampshire economy, so that regardless of national trends, the economic security of our Granite State families will always be protected. She’s fighting to cut taxes for Granite State small businesses, and to help them expand and create more jobs. And as a member of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee, Annie has stopped at nothing to ensure our veterans have access to the resources and support they need.

“I can go on for days about Congresswoman Kuster and all she’s done for our families. Whether it’s fighting for funding to improve the state’s response to the opioid epidemic, our clean water infrastructure and initiatives to help protect our environment, or supporting veterans facing homelessness, she continues to help secure millions of dollars for the state. We have a champion in her, and her leadership has been tested and proven time and time again.
