Will Matt Mowers and Karoline Leavitt Join Disgraced Congressman Matt Gaetz At NH GOP Fundraiser?

While New Hampshire Republicans get ready to welcome disgraced Congressman Matt Gaetz — who is currently under FBI investigation for sex trafficking involving a minor — to the Nashua GOP fundraiser Friday, likely Congressional candidate Matt Mowers, and current Congressional candidate Karoline Leavitt have not said whether they’ll join Gaetz at the fundraiser.

In addition to being under FBI investigation for sex trafficking, Gaetz is a close ally of former President Donald Trump and represents Florida’s first district in the U.S. Congress.

But Matt Mowers and Karoline Leavitt have not said whether they’ll be at the NH GOP fundraiser to welcome one of Trump’s top cronies to New Hampshire. “Matt Gaetz is a national disgrace. He is under FBI investigation for sex trafficking and should have never been invited to an NH GOP fundraiser in the first place,” said NHDP Chair Ray Buckley. “Not only have Matt Mowers and Karoline Leavitt yet to denounce Gaetz for the disgusting and reprehensible actions for which he is being investigated, they have also refused to say whether or not they will attend the fundraiser he is headlining on Friday to benefit Republican candidates. Mowers and Leavitt have made touting their Trumpworld connections the cornerstones of their campaigns, so they should have no problem letting Granite Staters know if they purchased one of the sold-out tickets to this embarrassing event."
