Sununu Gets Emotional Over His Record of Failure

CONCORD, NH — This morning, Jack Heath on the Pulse of NH hosted the first gubernatorial debate of the cycle. Dr. Sherman placed Chris Sununu on the defense as the governor attempted to deflect blame for the abortion ban he signed into law, skyrocketing energy prices, and his vote to defund Planned Parenthood. In response, NHDP Chair Ray Buckley released the following statement:

“While Chris Sununu was lying about his record and trying to deflect blame from his failures, Tom Sherman was proving that he’s the candidate who can deliver for Granite Staters.

Sununu’s record is riddled with failure and he must have hoped his emotional outbursts covered up the fact that he’s raised energy prices while stripping women of their rights. We quite literally cannot afford another Sununu term, and on November 8th, we have the opportunity to elect a governor who will protect our rights and lower our costs.”
