STATEMENT: Retirement of Justice Stephen Breyer Highlights Dangers of NH GOP’s Senate Candidates

CONCORD – NHDP Chair Ray Buckley issued the following statement on the retirement of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer:

“The retirement of Justice Breyer is a stark reminder of what is at stake in this next election. NH GOP Senate candidates Chuck Morse, Don Bolduc, and Kevin Smith would all support Supreme Court nominees who would immediately overturn Roe v. Wade and take away reproductive freedom. Over the next nine-plus months, New Hampshire Democrats will work to re-elect Senator Hassan, elect a pro-choice Governor, flip the State House blue, and vote for leaders who support reproductive freedom up and down the ballot.”
