This morning on WKBK with Dan Mitchell, Republican US Senate candidate Chuck Morse said that he opposes allowing the federal government to cap the cost of insulin at $35, which would make insulin more affordable for all Americans and ensure Big Pharma would not be able to exploit insulin prices to make a profit. In response, NHDP Chair Ray Buckley released the following statement:
“If Chuck Morse were in the US Senate, he would vote in lockstep with Mitch McConnell’s corporate special interest agenda that allows Big Pharma to keep the cost of insulin sky high and unaffordable for Granite Staters who need it most. While Senator Hassan is taking on Big Pharma and working to make life-saving drugs like insulin affordable and accessible, Chuck Morse is running for Senate so he can be a shill for McConnell and Big Pharma.”
