Ron DeSantis Once Again Avoids His Abortion Record in New Hampshire

CONCORD, NH — Today, Ron DeSantis once again removed any mentions of his abortion record from his New Hampshire stump speech. NHDP spokesperson Aida Ross released the following statement in response:

“Four trips to New Hampshire, and four stump speeches with Ron DeSantis deliberately taking out any mention of how he signed one of the most restrictive abortion bans in the country. DeSantis knows that the more Granite Staters’ hear about his extreme ban that rips away freedom the more they’ll reject him. He can run, but he definitely can’t hide.”

Despite opening the door to banning abortion nationwide just an hour after launching his disastrous presidential campaign, DeSantis has actively removed any mentions of abortion in his stump speeches for four straight trips to New Hampshire. DeSantis signed a law in April to ban abortion in Florida before many women know they’re pregnant, which is one of the most restrictive in the country.
