NHDP Statement On Voter Registration Day

Today, on National Voter Registration Day, NHDP Chair Ray Buckley has released the following statement:

“Today is an important opportunity to make sure that every Granite Stater has the resources they need to make their voice heard at the ballot box. While Republicans in the Granite State stand with dark money and special interests in their efforts to restrict voting rights, Democrats will continue to fight for the fundamental right to vote every step of the way. Today is also an important reminder that we must pass the Freedom to Vote Act and John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, both of these pieces of legislation protect equal access to the ballot -- which is fundamental to our democracy.”
