In response to Representative Bill Marsh’s announcing his campaign for State Senate, NHDP Chair Ray Buckley released the following statement. “It takes an incredible amount of strength and courage to do what Representative Marsh did when he switched parties last year, and it takes a great deal of strength and courage to do what he’s doing now: running for State Senate in one of the most competitive districts in the country. The NHDP stands proudly with Dr. Marsh, and we plan to give him the full backing of the New Hampshire Democratic Party to win this seat.
“Jeb Bradley has proven himself to be an abject failure during his three decades as a legislator – the one time street magician has mastered the disappearing act when it comes to standing up for New Hampshire values. Jeb has shown a questionable eagerness to roll over for far-right extremists at the slightest prompting. He has carried the water for the most extreme agenda to come out of the New Hampshire Senate ever; bills completely out of step with Granite State values. After 32 years and 17 campaigns, the time has come for the magician to end his tired and unfunny act and leave the stage.”
