CONCORD, NH — In response to Nikki Haley’s lackluster announcement that she is officially running for president preceding her visit to New Hampshire this week, NHDP Chair Ray Buckley released the following statement:
“The Republican primary is already a mess. After spending years working for Donald Trump, singing his praises, and admitting she has no policy differences with him, Nikki Haley is trying to repackage her MAGA extremism in hopes New Hampshire voters forget who she is.
Let’s be clear about Nikki Haley’s record — she’s as extreme as they come. From signing an abortion ban as governor with no exceptions for rape and incest to refusing to expand Medicaid, Nikki Haley has proven herself to be a far-right MAGA extremist just like her favorite former boss.”
