NHDP Statement on News of Biden-Harris Administration’s Historic Economic Growth

In case you missed it, newly released GDP numbers show that the United States’ economy grew by 5.7% in 2021 and 6.9% in the final three months of the year – the fastest economic growth for a single year in nearly four decades.

In response to this news, NHDP Chair Ray Buckley released the following statement:

“This week’s GDP numbers confirm what we already know– President Biden and Vice President Harris are leading our economy back to recovery. Thanks to their leadership, the nation’s economy saw its fastest growth last year since 1984. Our nation’s economy is rebounding at an unprecedented rate. Over 6.4 million jobs were added to the economy last year, which is the most in a single year in our history.”

“This means more money in the pockets of Granite Staters. While Republicans here in New Hampshire and in Washington, DC have been obstructing our economic recovery, our Congressional delegation and the Biden-Harris Administration have been delivering for New Hampshire. There’s still lots of work to be done, and I know that our Democrats in Washington, DC will keep fighting for Granite Staters.”
