Concord, N.H. - This weekend, Donald Trump ally and Florida Congresswoman Kat Cammack will visit New Hampshire to endorse radical NH GOP Manchester mayoral candidate Victoria Sullivan. In the aftermath of the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol, Cammack voted to overturn the results of the 2020 election, perpetuating Donald Trump’s dangerous big lie, and will not confirm whether she is vaccinated against COVID-19. In response to her visit, NHDP Chair Ray Buckley released the following statement: “Victoria Sullivan can’t get any support from Granite Staters in Manchester and clearly she’s worried about competition from Rich Girard, so she’s flying in conspiracy theorists like Kat Cammack. Her visit to New Hampshire is nothing more than a sideshow hosted by a flailing Mayoral candidate. The extreme right wing views shared by Victoria Sullivan and Florida’s Kat Cammack do not resonate with the people of Manchester, and that’s obvious because voters in the Queen City overwhelmingly rejected Victoria Sullivan and her dangerous ideologies two years ago. “Meanwhile, Mayor Craig has proven herself to be a decisive leader who can work across the aisle to get things done. In fact, this week Mayor Craig published an op-ed with Republican and Independent mayors in New Hampshire highlighting their success to collectively advocate and implement positive change statewide. Her campaign has received support from Republicans, Independents, and Democrats across the city. “The NH GOP can bring whichever extreme, out-of-staters they choose to New Hampshire, but it’s obvious that their sideshows will have no impact on Mayor Craig’s reelection this November.”
