CONCORD, NH – In honor of International Transgender Day of Visibility, NHDP Chair Ray Buckley released the following statement: “Today, and every day, I am immensely proud of the bravery of transgender Granite Staters, and am thankful for the Democrats who continue to protect and advocate for them in the legislature. New Hampshire has more transgender elected officials than any other state government, and we have many more holding local office and leading their communities. Even in the face of attacks against the LGBTQIA+ community by Republicans across the nation and in Washington, our trans community here in the Granite State is standing proud and refusing to back down. To members of the trans community here and across the country, whether you are out or not, you are seen and you are loved.”
