Today, Don Bolduc filed his U.S. Senate candidacy with the NH Secretary of State’s office. In response, NHDP Chair Ray Buckley released the following statement:
“Don Bolduc has spent the last year proving that in the U.S. Senate, he would help push Mitch McConnell’s extreme agenda that includes passing a nationwide abortion ban and helping corporate special interests rake in profits at the expense of Granite Staters. With the NH GOP Senate primary only three months away, Bolduc and the other Republican Senate candidates will find themselves embroiled in a messy and chaotic race to the right that will damage whoever emerges as the nominee.”
BACKGROUND:
Bolduc said that he supports the Supreme Court’s leaked draft decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.
Bolduc hired Rick Wiley, a long-time McConnell staffer, to run his campaign for U.S. Senate.
Bolduc also opposed Senator Hassan’s proposal to suspend the gas tax to provide relief for Granite Staters at the pump, and he said that he would have voted against emergency aid for Ukraine.
