NHDP Statement on Democratic Executive Council Candidates’ Filing

CONCORD, NH – In response to Democratic Candidates Mayor Dana Hilliard, Candidate for Executive Council District 1, Katherine Harake, Candidate for Executive Council District 3 Senator Kevin Cavanaugh, Candidate for Executive Council District, and Alderwoman Shoshanna Kelly, Candidate for Executive Council District 5, filing with the NH Secretary of State today, NHDP Chair Ray Buckley has released the following statement.

“Our Republican-majority Executive Council has been disastrous for Granite Staters. After voting to defund Planned Parenthood and other family planning centers three separate times, it’s clear that they will continue to push the NH GOP’s extreme anti-choice agenda.

Democrats have a lineup of incredible candidates, who, as Executive Councilors, are going to fight for New Hampshire values and protect access to reproductive health care. I can’t wait to see them elected this November.”
