Concord, NH - In response to today’s report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Chairman Buckley has released the following statement: “President Biden took office facing an economy reeling because of not just the COVID pandemic, but the poor leadership of the past administration. “There’s a lot of work left to do, which just goes to show how necessary the American Jobs Plan is. This is a plan that will revitalize the economy by investing in infrastructure and making it easier for people to participate in the workforce. With that being said, it's incredibly disappointing that Chris Sununu continues to block progress for Granite Staters by opposing legislation like the American Rescue Plan and the American Jobs Plan. These numbers still give us reason for optimism and under the leadership of President Biden and our Congressional delegation our economy will continue to flourish.”
