Concord, N.H. -- Today, the New Hampshire Democratic Party announced the launch of OrganizeNH, the 2022 coordinated campaign focused on organizing communities across New Hampshire to re-elect Senator Maggie Hassan, Congresswoman Annie Kuster, and Congressman Chris Pappas, elect a Democratic governor, and flip the State Senate, State House, and Executive Council. OrganizeNH is starting earlier than any Democratic coordinated campaign in New Hampshire history and will serve as Democrats’ hub for grassroots organizing and voter protection in 2022. OrganizeNH will work to organize and mobilize Granite Staters in every corner of the state while implementing a sweeping training program to empower local volunteers. The effort will focus on not only re-electing the federal delegation, but also on electing Democratic Majorities in the State Senate, State House, and Executive Council. OrganizeNH will also invest earlier than any previous coordinated campaign in voter protection, ensuring early that every eligible voter is able to cast their ballot in the face of continued voter suppression efforts by New Hampshire Republicans. “We are starting earlier than ever to build a grassroots-driven, volunteer-led organizing team that will help re-elect Senator Hassan, Rep. Kuster, and Rep. Pappas, elect a Democratic governor, and flip the State House,” said NHDP Chair Ray Buckley. “OrganizeNH will work with communities across New Hampshire to turn the State House blue and elect Democrats up and down the ballot.” “We’re starting early to build a grassroots-focused organizing program that mobilizes volunteers and organizers to re-elect Senator Hassan, Rep. Kuster and Rep. Pappas and flips the State House and Senate,” said Andrea Nemecek, the OrganizeNH Coordinated Campaign Director. “The stakes for New Hampshire families couldn’t be higher this year, and that is why we are starting early to protect the rights of every eligible voter and to organize communities from Pelham to Pittsburg to elect Democrats up and down the ballot.” Andrea Nemecek will serve as Coordinated Campaign Director. Nemecek previously served as the Get Out the Vote Director for the Arizona Democratic Party, where she designed and implemented the largest voter mobilization program in Arizona history, electing President Joe Biden, US Senator Mark Kelly, and down-ballot Democrats. She was the Training Director for the Arizona Democratic Party 2018 coordinated campaign, which successfully flipped a Senate seat blue in Arizona for the first time since the 1970s. Joining Nemecek will be Emma Mintz who will serve as Voter Protection Director. Mintz previously worked on the Democratic Party of Georgia’s voter protection team, helping to elect Senators Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff in January. Mintz also served on the Maine Democratic Party’s voter protection team in the 2020 election and organized for Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaign in New Hampshire. This is the earliest New Hampshire Democrats have hired a Coordinated Campaign Director and Voter Protection Director.
