NH-01 GOP Candidates are silent on lowering prescription drug costs, increasing access to health care, and protecting Social Security and Medicare
MANCHESTER, NH — The Republican candidates running for Congress in New Hampshire’s First District held a debate tonight and made crystal clear exactly how their out-of-touch policies are wrong for New Hampshire and would hurt Granite State families.
In response, NHDP Chair Ray Buckley released the following statement:
“Karoline Leavitt, Gail Huff Brown, Tim Baxter, Russell Prescott, and Matt Mowers are far-right extremists, and spent over an hour tonight showing New Hampshire voters just how out of touch and woefully unqualified they are. From advocating for a national abortion ban, to opposing legislation to stand up to China and jumpstart domestic manufacturing, and refusing to admit Donald Trump lost the 2020 election, these far-right extremist shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near the United States Capitol.
Granite Staters know and trust Congressman Chris Pappas because he works each and every day to bring people together, work across the aisle, and deliver results to help Granite State families. While these GOP candidates are busy slinging mud and bickering amongst each other like children, Congressman Pappas will continue working for the people and New Hampshire and growing a grassroots campaign to win in November.”
