CONCORD, NH — Today, Senator Maggie Hassan joined NHDP Chair Ray Buckley for a press call on Donald Trump’s failures ahead of his official filing for the New Hampshire primary.

“At a time when our country confronts significant problems at home and around the world, and when our global leadership is as indispensable as ever, we need to be united. But Trump is incapable of bringing us together,” said Senator Maggie Hassan. “We are the Live Free or Die State: We have no use for a man who would overturn our elections or praise dictators. I know that as Granite Staters and Americans, we will reject Trump and we will win next November.”
“As Trump files for the NH primary today, Granite Staters are remembering just how disastrous his presidency was for our state. Whether it was tax giveaways for the ultra-rich and big corporations or creating incentives to offshore American jobs, Trump’s entire presidency was about rigging the economy for special interests while leaving Granite Staters in the dust,” said NHDP Chair Ray Buckley. “Trump has proven over and over that we cannot trust him with New Hampshire’s economy or important crises — at home or on the world stage.”
