Kevin Smith Will Literally Do Whatever Mitch McConnell and Rick Scott Tell Him to

Kevin Smith is taking being a rubber stamp for Rick Scott and Mitch McConnell to a whole new level. This week, Smith released a statement where he made it clear that he supports the Supreme Court’s draft decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. But there was something peculiar about Smith’s statement — it was copied nearly word for word from National Republican Senate Committee talking points.

Axios reported that the talking points were from a memo the NRSC released Tuesday, “laying out how candidates and lawmakers can maximize their messaging on the U.S. Supreme Court's leaked draft decision to overturn Roe v. Wade,” which Smith also used for the tweet below: Smith also sent a text to supporters that said, “we are SO close to ending abortion once and for all.”

Kevin Smith is clearly willing to do anything that Rick Scott and Mitch McConnell tell him to, even if it comes at Granite Staters’ expense.
