MANCHESTER, NH — Karoline Leavitt hasn't been seen in New Hampshire's First District since she won her primary over a week ago, but yesterday she found time on her trip to Washington, DC to attend a fundraiser hosted by the members of Congress who introduced legislation to impose a national ban on abortion, including her former boss and top DC supporter, Elise Stefanik.
When asked about her support for a national abortion ban as she entered the fundraiser held in a million dollar DC row house, Karoline ran away and did not answer the question.
In response, NHDP spokesperson Monica Venzke released the following statement:
“Karoline Leavitt made her anti-choice agenda loud and clear all throughout her primary, but now that she’s facing the general electorate, she’s literally running away from it.
"Granite Staters deserve to know if our representative in Washington would support out-of-touch, extreme legislation like this and vote to strip us of our right to choose. Karoline, answer the question.”
