Karoline Leavitt is Fundraising With Her Fellow Anti-Choice Extremist

MANCHESTER, NH — Karoline Leavitt, the Republican candidate in New Hampshire’s First Congressional District, is joining forces with Yesli Vega, another anti-choice extremist running for Congress in Virginia.

Vega has made horrific comments about abortion. She has repeatedly implied that pregnancy caused by rape is unlikely, stating that “there’s so much going on in the body” to get pregnant. She also said that “abortion’s not gonna be an option" in states like New Hampshire after the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

In response, NHDP Chair Ray Buckley released the following statement:

“It is no surprise at all that anti-choice extremist like Karoline, who supports a nationwide abortion ban, would campaign with someone as vile as Yesli Vega. These are two people who, if elected, would vote to strip women nationwide of their right to choose. New Hampshire is a pro-choice state, and Karoline’s extremist views and extremist friends are far out-of-touch with Granite Staters.”
