Fact Check: Sununu Repeats False Claim That NH Was “One Of The Fastest State In The Country"

Concord, N.H. -- During an interview on Good Morning with Jack Heath today, Chris Sununu once again falsely claimed that New Hampshire was “obviously one of the fastest states in the country” for getting people vaccinated, after his own DHHS admitted this claim wasn’t accurate.

The Governor made the false claim just a few days after NHPRpublished a report exposing how Sununu knowingly touted false COVID vaccination numbers in an effort to raise his national profile ahead of a potential run for US Senate.

Despite NHPR’s reporting, the Governor continues to repeat the false claim about the state’s vaccination rollout.
