NASHUA, NH — The New Hampshire Democratic Party announced today that Congressman Ro Khanna will be the keynote speaker of this year’s McIntyre-Shaheen 100 Club Dinner. “I am so excited to be back in the Granite State joining my good friends and colleagues Congresswoman Annie Kuster and Congressman Chris Pappas, along with Senator Jeanne Shaheen, Senator Maggie Hassan, and all of the other extraordinary Democratic leaders from the North Country to the Seacoast,” said Congressman Ro Khanna. “2024 will be a pivotal moment for this country, and the road to continued progress in Washington runs right through New Hampshire. I'm looking forward to touting my colleagues' record of delivering results for New Hampshire, and highlighting the bright future for Democrats in Washington and Concord.”
Rep. Ro Khanna has represented California’s 17th Congressional District since 2016. As the representative for the Silicon Valley area in Congress, Ro is a Progressive Capitalist who has led the way on tech policy and job creation. He played a pivotal role in passing key legislation, such as the President's Infrastructure Bill, the CHIPS and Science Act, the Essential Workers Bill of Rights, and the VALOR Act. “As we come off another year of historic wins, we are excited to welcome Congressman Khanna back to New Hampshire. He’s a longtime friend of the Granite State and we can’t wait to have him back to celebrate our recent victories and to help us keep building our momentum going into this year’s municipal elections and into November 2024,” said NHDP Chair Ray Buckley.
The McIntyre-Shaheen 100 Club Dinner is one of New Hampshire’s premier political events, and honors the work of two of the most influential leaders in NHDP history — Senators Tom McIntyre and Jeanne Shaheen.
