Chairman Buckley Congratulates State Representative-Elect Catherine Rombeau

Concord, N.H. -- In response to Catherine Rombeau’s historic victory in the the Bedford special election, NHDP Chairman Ray Buckley has released the following statement:

“Tonight, Catherine Rombeau made history as the second Democrat ever to be elected to the NH House in Bedford. Voters came out to support Catherine because of her outstanding contributions to the community and her commitment to New Hampshire values. In the past two months, Catherine knocked on thousands of doors and earned the support of voters across the political spectrum. It is clear that Catherine won a well-earned victory against the NH GOP political machine and outside money, thanks to the tireless work of Granite Staters and voters in Bedford who care deeply about their community.

“These election results prove that New Hampshire voters want leaders they can rely on to fight for their values and communities in Concord and we couldn't be prouder of Catherine. We know that she will be a strong voice for her constituents.”
