Manchester, N.H. - Today, the New Hampshire Democratic Party launched www.victoriasullivan.org to expose Victoria Sullivan for her damaging vote after vote in the state legislature where she consistently turned her back on the people of Manchester.
“If you want to know who Victoria Sullivan is or what she believes, Victoria Sullivan’s destructive actions speak much louder than her empty rhetoric,” said Ray Buckley, chair of the New Hampshire Democratic Party. “From voting against funding to combat the opioid crisis to attempting to defund public education, Victoria Sullivan’s record has been dangerous for the city she claims she wants to run.”
The site highlights Sullivan’s damaging record for Manchester, including:
Sullivan’s four votes to defund public education (HB 1192, 3/23/16; HB 129, 2/2/17; HB 647, 2/15/17; SB 193, 1/3/18).
Sullivan’s five votes against funding to combat the opioid crisis (SSHCR 1; 11/18/15; HB 1000 6/16/16; SB 533, 4/20/16, SB 131, 6/1/17, HB 1811, 2/8/18).
Sullivan’s vote against funding to help law enforcement make Manchester safer (SB 131, 6/1/17).
“Victoria Sullivan’s votes have hurt Manchester, and as a candidate for mayor she has refused to put forward any productive measures to address the issues important to Manchester residents,” said Buckley. “Victoria Sullivan’s actions have hurt the city she claims she wants to run, and her insidious voting record and empty rhetoric show how out of touch she is with the people she claims to want to represent.”
