In response to Chris Sununu's veto of the fair and equitable budget passed by the House and Senate, New Hampshire Democratic Party Chair Ray Buckley released the following statement: "Sununu has now denied Granite Staters property tax relief, investments in education, and mental health and substance use disorder treatment services — just because he's upset he can't give tax cuts to his corporate out of state special interests. "This is — dare I say it — a new low, even for Sununu. This political tantrum he's throwing is not a good look for him. Sununu's veto is going to be expensive for Granite Staters — and also for Sununu's political career."
