Sununu Refuses to Respond to Right to Know Request About How He's Spent Inaugural Funds

Concord, N.H. - Following troubling reports that Governor Chris Sununu is using his inaugural committee funds to enrich himself, his family, and his lobbyist friends, Sununu is now refusing to comply with a Right to Know request the New Hampshire Democratic Party filed last month. NHDP Chair Ray Buckley issued the following statement: “It is incredibly concerning -- though not surprising -- that after weeks of reports and questions, Governor Sununu is refusing to comply with a Right to Know request about how he has spent his inaugural funds, including reimbursing himself and making payments to his family and lobbyist friends. The people of New Hampshire deserve better, and we will keep working to demand accountability until Sununu releases these public documents."
