Concord, N.H. - Tonight, Steve Negron laid out his extreme, unpopular agenda in his WMUR debate loss to Congresswoman Annie Kuster. As polling continues to show that the few Granite Staters that know who Steve Negron is strongly oppose his backward agenda, Negron doubled down on his attacks on Granite Staters’ health care and women’s reproductive rights, while reiterating his support for harmful conversion therapy for LGBTQ+ children.
NHDP Chair Ray Buckley issued the following statement:
“Tonight, Steve Negron reinforced why he is the wrong choice for the 2nd Congressional District. While Congresswoman Annie Kuster continued to lay out her vision for increasing access to quality, affordable health care and expanding economic opportunity for hardworking Granite Staters, Steve Negron doubled down on his attacks on Granite Staters’ health care and his support for rolling back rights for women and LGBTQ+ individuals. Negron supports banning all abortions without exception and allowing forced conversion therapy for minors. These are not the policies New Hampshire is looking for in a 2nd Congressional District Representative, which is exactly why his views will be resoundingly rejected by voters on Election Day.”
