In Conway, Edwards Denies His Recent Climate Denial

NHDP

Concord, N.H. - At today’s Mount Washington Valley Economic Council debate, Eddie Edwards said “I never said I don’t believe in science,” in response to a question about climate change. At the NHPR debate less than two weeks ago, Edwards was asked if he believed if human activity was a main driver in climate change, to which he responded, “no.” NHDP Chair Ray Buckley issued the following statement: “Apparently Eddie Edwards isn’t content simply denying the settled science around climate change. He has moved onto denying his denial, and he might have gotten away with it too if there wasn’t a video. Edwards’ tired routine is claiming that Chris Pappas is ‘twisting his words’ every time Chris brings up one of his extreme policy positions. If Edwards continues to duck and dodge on tough issues, you can bet voters will deny him this seat on November 6th.”
